Rest day intake using tdee

New at this, so when I calculated my tdee I put in that I exercise 6 days a week. Today is my rest day. Giving my body a break and not exercising today. So how many calories am I supposed to eat? My tdee came to 1810 calories a day. So do I eat 1810 calories today or do I eat less? I don't want to ruin my numbers for the week by accidently over/under eating on one day.
Thank you

Just a heads up, TDEE calculators largely overestimate your activity. Unfortunately they pretty much completely ignore your non-workout activity, so if you don't move a lot apart from your workouts, you probably want to put your activity lower... I work out 7 days a week (burning 350-600 calories), and I have to set my TDEE to lightly active to match my fitbit average. On days I burn 600 calories, I'm moderately active (moderate exercise 4-5 hours a week, I think it says), but my average is still just a bit over lightly active. So it depends on what kind of workouts you do too...

To answer your question though, that's another reason why it's better to underestimate a bit, I think, as you're supposed to eat the same on rest days, but nothing stops you from eating less though (personally, I've just given up on rest days after figuring out that my TDEE was 1700 or something if I'm not going for a walk!).
  • I'm basically eating at BMR right now. Trying to reduce body fat in big way.
