Food and Dreams

I was dreaming last night, and my dream included what I made for my breakfast today. So I woke up, convinced that my dream was telling me something important, and cooked up my dreaming breakfast.
Lo and behold, as I log food after I cooked it (which isn't typically like me), I've eaten over half of my calorie goal for the day!
Lesson to self: Don't trust the meals from dreams! I typically don't dream of food. Does anyone else? Has it corresponded to a change in your diet, like cutting sodium or avoiding dairy or something?

My food dreams are always based on specific memories- often from childhood-- like eating a hot dog that's so big it barely fits in my hand so my daddy is balancing the other end like when I was a toddler0

I get mad when I’m at a buffet in my dream and I’m about to eat something and then I remember my food sensitivities and it’s ruined. 😤1

Do these dreams also contain past loves as well as food? If not, then no.1
