When we want to add a food to our daily menu there is a QR bar so we can scan an item. I just wondered if there is a way to use this but not have it added to my daily meal. I am thinking more of using it when I grocery shop so if I see something I would like to try I can just scan the code and save it on my account somewhere. Hope that made sense

You could use the scanner and log an item on some date in the far past, so it's in your Recents list but not added to your current diary.1
