Motivation...when you can't exercise?

I suppose I can exercise by walking some like I did this morning, my hip is bothering me but not screaming too bad. My left shoulder on the other hand.....makes me want to cry right now. I want so badly to be jogging, to be using my punching bag... I know I could just eat at a calorie deficit and still lose weight but I feel like if I get out of the habit of exercising it will ruin my plans for my first 5k coming up next month and I feel lazy for skipping days
What do you do to keep your spirits up and pounds down when you've hurt yourself?
fyi-the hip injury was probably by my stupidity when working out...not sure. The shoulder is a rotator cuff thing that's been hurting since a month or more before I started exercising, probably strain from moving apartments, but last night I tripped and it's been screaming ever since.
