Small Success!

I'm back on the low-carb plan. Not going full-on keto, just low carb. I've been at it for three days and have lost 2.5 pounds! I'm sure much of that was fluid retention, but as long as I see progress I'll be happy. I don't care if it takes two years to lose 30 pounds, I just want to see the scale showing a downward progression. I will have to work through those pesky plateaus. That tends to be where I check out. If I'm stuck and staying with my diet and exercise plan I get discouraged and say, screw it. This time I will work on staying with it through the plateaus.

    Great! Stick with it. I slowly transitioned away from counting calories last time I had a long plateau also....
