Losing very slowly

I started the Mediterranean diet on August 11. It's the 23rd and I've lost 6 pounds. It seems slow.

    I think you have an error in your dates. Do you mean July 11th through July 23 or-?

    Darla, how long did it take you to put on six pounds?

    It didn’t come on overnight. Expecting it to come off overnight is impractical. I totally understand how anxious you are to be shed of it, but that’s an absolutely fantastic rate of loss for five weeks. You should be satisfied, and very proud.

    Keep at it. At my age-and perhaps yours?-the months fly by and if you’re persistent with logging, weighing, starting an exercise program, you’ll be at goal before you know it.

    You've lost 6lb in less than a fortnight. That isn't slow at all. You need to reconsider your expectations.

    How much did you expect to lose that short time?
