Hi
I've had high prolactin levels 1000-6000 since 2018 it's not a tumour but caused by medication I'm on.

I always had loads of energy and kept the weight off till this happened, I have gained 3 stone in roughly 3 years. Just about to begin cabergoline to reduce levels of prolactin and after reading extensively about it I'm getting excited that it might help reduce my weight, I know its not a miracle cure but alongside excersise and reduction in calories. As no other diets worked for me alone.

Also if you don't mind me asking has anyone ever lost weight from this treatment, or similar. And if so how much in how long?

Or anyone in similar position wants to chat. 🙂

Hope your all well x

I clicked on this expecting a really different thread topic! My prolactin levels are high because I'm breastfeeding, so I can't really speak at all to what you're experiencing, but I hope the treatment is effective and you have success with your weight loss. :)
