Hello. I am new to MyFitnessPal. I was over on SparkPeople until sadly they had to close the old site down. While they are busy creating the new one I thought that I would check this forum out. Seems like a pretty cool site.

My name is Tammy, but I prefer Portia. I am a 51 year old female living in Los Angeles, CA. I have a wonderful man that I am in love with, and I live with my emotional support animal, she is a black cat and her name is "Skitters".

I am disabled, dealing with autoimmune diseases that has attacked my heart and lungs, but I refuse to give up. Looking forward to making new friends and see some old familiar faces.
