Accountability - UK newbie

Hi Everyone,
I am based in the UK and am in desperate need of some support. I am on the same yo-yo that I have been for my whole life. I’m 50 next year and would like to feel happy about myself which only comes when I feel the correct weight and healthy. I am also on the cusp of diabetes which I am desperate to avoid.
I would like a group of like minded people who I can connect with daily as a reminder of how to feed my body well and feed my mind/emotions in other ways.
If anyone would like to connect daily for some fun and positive chat then please do.

Hello there. I will happily stay in daily touch. I am 62, also U.K. based. Just weighed myself after my holiday and I have gained 3 kilos . Now 98.2 kgs. Very depressing as I have been hovering around 95 for months and although I needed to crack on and get to somewhere around 80, at least at 95 my clothes fit and I got less back pain. I seem to lose weight steadily if I stick to 3 meals a day and avoid snacks. Our food is reasonably healthy, but portion control is a bit of an issue.. I am quite active, walking and swimming most days, but I think I should probably incorporate some strength work.0
