Steps tracker

I am unable to track my steps due to a connection error. I have updated, reinstalled and nothing. The bottom line is, I cannot uncheck the box that says "do not track my steps". I am very frustrated. I cannot attach a picture of my error neither. Please help.

I just took a look on my android phone and figured out you need to have added a device, then you'd select the connected device to move the check mark from the "Don't track steps" to the connected device. And if the check mark is on the connected device you can select "Don't track steps" to move it back to that option if you want.
You would need to get your connection error fixed first, though. I'm sorry I don't have any knowledge about that.1 -
OP - I feel your pain! I had my Samsung watch connected to MFP through Samsung Health for months, constantly synching and showing both step count, and calories earned from that count. Then, one day about three weeks ago, it just quit. MFP shows Samsung Health still connected, but no steps are shown and I constantly get an 'Unable to connect to the server' error message. Also, the 'Do not count steps' box cannot be unchecked. I've synched endlessly, uninstalled and reinstalled both apps, restarted my watch and am at a complete loss as to how to fix it. I hope a fix presents itself soon!1
