Not new, but it's been awhile

Hi, I'm not new to MFP but it's been awhile since I've been here. I am sick of being tired, and I know my weight & eating habits have a lot to do with it. So here I am again. I'm a 58 yo female. I weighed myself this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I weighed 210 lbs, and until now, thought I'd be closer to 240. I had to weigh myself twice because I didn't believe the scale. Still, 210 is about 30-40 pounds more than what I want to be. I know I will never get down to the weight I was in college which was 110, but would eventually like to get to 150-160. I think that would be a good goal to strive for. So, other than the steps I'm taking to get down to my goal, I am here to read advice from others who are in the same boat as me.
