Hi beautiful people, i wanna ask you if the calories of my goal is it what should i eat in total or i should make a calorie deficit (for exp if my goal is 1200 in the app should i eat 1200 or 1000~900)

    Did you tell MFP you had a weight loss goal and picked a rate of loss - or did you tell MFP during setup you wanted to maintain weight?

    And if you have been given 1200 - you probably picked a loss and that means the deficit is there.
    Actually - probably faster than it should be.

    How much do you have to lose to healthy weight?

    How fast did you say you wanted to lose it?

    And that eating goal is ONLY on days that match the activity level you selected.
    If you actually are getting some exercise in - it should always be higher.

    If you used MFP to set your goals up and you choose that you wanted to lose weight --- the calorie goal it gives you is what you should aim to eat everyday. It's already figured in a calorie deficit for you (this is also why if you log cardio workout calorie burns, it will automatically add that to you calorie goal for the day).

    It could be different if you've used a different way to calculate your calorie goal.

    In most cases...you should not eat less than 1200 calories per day.
