Woke up & had a mug of warm water and lemon juice

Breakfast - green smoothie (1 cucumber, 2 apples, half a lemon, 3 stalks of celery)

Lunch - large salad with half a can of chickpeas

Dinner - lots of stir fried veggies with whole wheat noodles and 1 salmon fillet

Snacks - one mango

Drinks: 2 litres water

Exercise:
During the day: walked the dogs for 45 minutes
Evening: 3 x 20 minute walks (walked each of my 3 dogs around the block one at a time)

Any tips? :)

    Great job!

How did you FEEL? It sure looks like you did well, did you feel like you had energy and were full, or did you feel like you were hanging out till your next meal? Make sure you keep tabs on how you respond to what you're eating. If you find you feel tired, lacking energy, hungry constantly, make sure you look at your protein sources, ensure you're getting enough protein and good fats as these will keep you feeling sated and keep you on track.

    ^^^ solid post!

It looks good, but just remember not every day has to have textbook nutrition.

Don't have too large of a deficit or your body will fight you and that will make 'dieting' very difficult. Just remember that this is a long term commitment and that you WILL slip up from time to time - set yourself up with solid and sustainable habits now, but try not to be too much of a perfectionist about it!

Yes. Do you think that is sustainable? How many calories? Was it enough?

This was a great first step. Now make sure what you are doing is something that you can sustain over the long-haul.

Good start. Biggest question is where did it leave you in your calorie goal?
    Were you full?
Did you have any dressing on your salad?
What sauce was the stir fry cooked with?

It's more about the calories and not so much about what you ate.... but good nutrition is important!
