Strenuous exercise linked to developing ALS in those who have a genetic predisposition to ALS

Note: The link is only for people who have a genetic predisposition to ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and ONLY for vigorous exercise on a frequent basis.

Moderate exercise appears not to be linked, and, unsurprisingly, has a beneficial effect, even for people who either have a genetic predisposition, or who have been diagnosed with ALS.
