This will be interesting... and hopefully not too tedious! I've been vegetarian since I was 11 and eat mostly organic whole foods. I'm wondering why the same whole foods have different values so I'm interested in which sources are the most reliable. I love sprouting and making my own kombucha.

Hi, and welcome!
I'm not sure what you mean by "why the same whole foods have different values"?
If you mean the entries in the food database differ, that's because it's crowd-sourced: Users can enter foods, and some are more accurate than others. I know it's a little tedious, but when you first start out, it's good to verify the entries you choose against a known valid source (like the USDA food database, Self nutrition database, or the like). Once you do that, the things you eat regularly will be in your MFP recent/frequent foods, so easier to find.
I've been vegetarian for 47+ years now, but since age 18, not age 11.
Wishing you success with your goals, her on MFP!0
