I didn’t know I had an increased risk for inflammation…
I never would have thought I did but here I am! I'm making changes in the quality of the foods I put into my body.
Sugar and other refined carbohydrates trigger weight gain, inflammation, and blood sugar imbalances. I learned that my body has a very high risk of inflammation. Because of this...food with high omega-6 will promote inflammation and compete with Omega-3
🤔When I am inflamed, my body is bloated, I feel uncomfortable, tired and become at risk for other health issues.
🙂 It is awesome to know how to work with your genes! It goes a longer way.
Last year I took advantage of finding out my blueprint and how to live life. By far the best choice ever!

Are you referring to the “blueprint” that is available in Premium?

I just know this is a thing, but nothing else about it.

i thought OP posted that link and I was about to come back and say 'I hope you were not using that link to validate your 'blueprint' as being 'legitimate' :D

I don't work in the lab any more and I have to stop posting in these threads because every time someone posts about a blueprint or nutrigenomic test I spend 30 minutes doing research on what's current only to find out that the science STILL isn't there in the way that the sales pitches infer.

One of these days it will be, but it isn't yet...

The stuff about inflammation? Yeah, that holds true for almost everyone. I don't see anything in the OP that leads me to think there is anything particularly spend-worthy in the blueprint report (if that's even what she's talking about) unless there's more specificity than she's alluding to.

I'll very quickly admit I don't know anything about it other than that there are companies who offer versions of DNA testing. how accurate they are.... not a clue. I figure they are too NEW to be terribly accurate and reliable and were *probably* more likely to cause more concern and panic than relief. or... false relief.

All i had to read was that Life insurance companies might be able to get their paws on it and deny, cancel, or charge higher premiums if they don't like what they see and I was like ... 'nope. I'm out' all for something that I may or may NOT develop? nope. nope. nope.

Are the tests accurate (ish?) for something like celiac/gluten sensitivities?

Or - are they accurate enough for any of the risk factor predictions?
