30 before 30! My accountability log.

Hi! I want to lose 30 lbs before my 30th birthday the 27th of December. For YEARS I have been trying to lose weight. Sometimes it feels like I have tried everything. Cutting calories, cutting carbs, intermittent fasting, all the apps. I always stick to it for a week or two, then fall of the wagon.
I have come to the realization that I can no longer try to lose weight by myself. In the past I have always felt embarrased by the fact that I was dieting, so I rarely talked about it due to my fear of failing, and hence if anybody knew about it they would think I was a failiure. So this time I am trying to keep myself accountable by writing my progress in this discussion.
I have taken some before-pictures, but am not comfortable posting them at this moment. Hopefully they will come together with some progress pictures after a while.
My main goal for this weightloss is my wedding the 26th of February, but before that I want to make a change before I turn 30 (and try to not go bananas during the holidays, as my birthday is only a few days later).
30 lbs before 30! (I do use the metric system, but its just not a catchy title).
Starting weight:
18.09.2021 - 187 lbs / 85 kg - size 42
Goal 1:
27.12.2021 - 157 lbs / 71 kg - size 40
Goal 2:
26.02.2022 - 143 lbs / 65 kg OR wear size 38
Goal 3:
01.06.2022 - 132 lbs / 60 kg OR wear size M / 36-38
I know that sometimes weight loss takes longer, and the lifestyle changes are more important than the numbers on the scale. My problem however has always been (as stated above) to stick with it.
Thanks for reading my thoughts and helping me sticking to it this time
Maria
