First 2 weeks & No Weight Loss, until TODAY!

First two weeks this is what I did. I exercised every day for 45 minutes, sometimes more, running/intervals too. I ate reasonably, about 1300-1500 calories a day. I put cocoa in my coffee after reading about it's magnesium helping people lose weight. No weight loss at all. Getting frustrated.
So, I switched it up a little last week. I swam one day. I cleaned garage another day. Exercised the rest - 45 minutes minimum. I watched a show called "Vegucated", and quit almost all meats & diary (just a very tiny bit, greek yogurt). I switched to soy cheese. I added a can of Italian green beans to my afternoon diet to help fill me up. Beans & peanut butter & nuts for protein. Still getting about 1100-1400 a day. I started wearing my post partum "Squeem" that, in theory, is supposed to aid in fat loss.
Yesterday, I was super tired and didn't exercise. So tired, I didn't want to move. I do desk work, and researching and writing was a chore. I thought I was coming down with a 'back to school' virus.
Today, I step on the scale and weight . . and 3 pounds lost! That wasn't there on Saturday at my last weigh in.
I'm doing the happy dance! Don't know what worked, but loading the guns with all barrells did.

Calories in/calories out is what works. You amused yourself with all the different "tricks" but it comes down to eating less than you burn in a day. Your body doesn't care if you ate beans, wore a squeem (whatever that is), danced on the roof or layed on the couch. You burned more than you took in resulting in weight loss. It doesn't need to be complicated.0

The rest day will have let your body relax and repair itself.
If you only started exercising two weeks ago your muscles will be retaining water from that exercise. Which it does when muscles are damaged.
Give yourself a day of every week, it'll help you from getting too lethargic too which stops guilty feelings if you don't manage to exercise.0
