Healthy Weight Gain!

Hi all! Sorry if this has been asked before, but I’ve come looking for advice. I want to put weight on healthily and am trying my best! I was wondering if anyone could direct me with how many calories and such I should add. According to a few BMR calculators, my BMR is about 1530. (Sedentary female, 5’7).

Have you used the guided setup on this website yet? Here's a link: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

Your body is constantly burning calories just to keep you alive; your basal metabolic rate (BMR) is how many calories you would burn in the course of a day if you were in a coma, absolute baseline minimum energy required to keep you breathing/keep your heart beating. Assuming you're not, in fact, in a coma, since you're posting on the internet, you burn more calories than that BMR number as you go about your business in the course of a normal day.

Either use link above to get an estimate for a day without exercise of use an average TDEE calculator.
TDEE = Total Daily Energy Expenditure. To gain weight you will need to eat above that number.

(BMR is just one part of your daily needs and not what you need to calculate. Even someone who is sedentary and not exercising needs more than their BMR.)

    Here's a good example of a TDEE calculator - https://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/

Ah!! I mistyped! I meant to say my TDEE is around 1530. Also, my account is restricted at the moment due to some prior issues I had with disordered eating :( so I can’t update my goals.

Are you having treatment for the eating disorder? If so, have you spoken to the team about going on mfp? I’m suggesting you do because some therapists don’t recommend using mfp or calorie counting.
