All the weight in my belly....anyone else?

I both love and do not love my body shape. I love it because I'm l about 5'6' and since I have pretty long legs I think it makes my overall frame appear thinner (imo) than if I was shorter with the same proportion of weight/height. Since my limbs are slim most of the weight is in my midsection. But the reason I don't like this is....I feel like I look pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ((( Whenever I wear anything that's at all tight in the belly I feel so self conscious....I kinda wish I could move the weight from my belly to my butt/boobs! lol
I'm worried that as I lose weight this is only going to become more noticeable (since everyone says you lose the stomach weight last). I don't wanna look pregnant!!! Ugh. Any other ladies have this problem? how long did it take to lose that part?

Unfortunately, if you want to lose the weight, you might have an awkward stage. But at some point, it will past.0

:ohwell: Been on this journey since January and still trying to lose it....it's slowwwwly shrinking but I keep reminding myself that it's the last to go.0

All the fat isn't in your midsection, it just seems that way to you.0

I think most of the weight I carry is in my stomach area too! I think because I have the biggest problem with it, it takes the longest for me to actually see results.0

I feel the same way...I feel like I'm 7 months pregnant. Everything makes me bloat and I feel worse.0

Most of my weight is in my stomach (my arms need work and my thighs too). I've had 3 pregnancies since 2010. So back to back with not much chance for my body to regain shape. plus I have a lot of extra skin from losing weight.
ETA - I was 270, that is why I have extra skin. My skin pretty much has no elasticity at all. I've got the stretch marks to prove it. :grumble:0 -
Yes, noticeable pooch here. I hate it. However, I can honestly say it is shrinking, it's just taking time. Keep working at it. It's worth it!0

For me, it will always be what bothers me the most about my figure! I hate being short-waisted.0

Yep, same here. It is good to try and loose it though. They have linked belly fat (which is different than all over body fat) to heart issues. People who build fat all over can (in theory) weigh more and have less heart related health issues than us belly fat builders. If you do have a kid though, the belly can be nice, it can help hold up the kid when you are carrying them, hehe.0

Yep that's where most of my fat still is.0

Sugar is supposed to be linked to causing belly fat. Not sure if its valid evidence or not but DAMN all those years of sour worms, soothers, sour rings i ate by the plastic buckets sure makes me believe its true.

I had similar issues! I was fine with my arms, butt, legs etc, but my belly, especially from a side view, I definitely looked pregnant. I looked like I was having a baby! It just stuck out like that, eating and having to pee just made it stick out more. I think my problem was just not having any stomach muscles. I just found the right caloric intake/exercise balance for my scale to start moving, but ignoring the scale my belly has definitely gone down! I do a lot of ab exercises and now it sucks itself in and is a lot flatter. That is not to say I have a six pack or no fat on my stomach, I mean it doesn't hang out anymore, it doesn't look like I strapped on a baby bump around my belly. I would definitely try to get some more ab exercises into your workout, try to do more then just the basic crunch and sit up. I do Jillian's 6 week 6 pack abs as part of my daily routine. By the way, I am also 5'60
