Years ago I worked with an online coach/trainer I met through mfp to help set my macros/diet program and training.

Is there anyone here that offers these services?

    Lots of free macros/diet info here. I had a dietitian for a while but actually find the forums more useful.

    The MFP macro defaults are a good place to start. Here's a reputable protein calculator:

    I shoot for @ 500 calories of exercise per day, and when I achieve that, using the MFP default of 20% protein aligns with the protein recommendation from examine. If I were completely sedentary, I'd need to bump it up to 30%.

    You could try the new Macro Factor app. It does not tell you what to eat but you put in your goals and log your food. It gives you a calorie and macro recommendation based on that. What you don't have to do is worry about how many exercise calories you are expending. It calculates your calories out from your scale weight and logged food intake and adjusts recommendations as you go. It takes about 20 days or so of logging before it gets a proper handle on your calories out (I already had this data from my manual logs so I could easily back fill the data). You have to pay for the app but I am very impressed so far.
