Hello! I'm new to MyFitnessPal. This is my first year and first attempt to seriously lose weight. I say seriously because the first time I tried "Exercise ONLY". That didn't work. Then, I tried "Diet ONLY", that didn't work, either. This time, I thought I better try them both. But I'm not dieting. Instead, I decided to change my diet. I watch my carbs and calories. And I eat one meal a day. But, I get that this is a lifestyle change. No going back. Walking is my primary exercise because I like it. I started the year at 255 and as of today, I'm 177. But, at 5'3...I've got a long way to go. I hope to find recipes for a bit more variety here. Giving up bread (except Sola), potatoes, pasta, sugar, and rice took a chunk out of my weekly meals. But, I have added a lot of vegetables. Good Luck to Everyone!
