Night hunger

I am usually pretty hungry at night. It's not boredom, or emotional neediness, but full fledged stomach growling hunger. I know people say it's ok to eat at night but I just prefer not to eat after dinner for the most part unless I'm really desperate. So anyway, what I found that has been working well is the organic chicken or beef broth powder and I believe I got it at Walmart. I know it probably has a lot of sodium in it, but it is ten calories for two teaspoons, and one teaspoon is enough to flavor a mug of water. I put a little bit of skim milk in it too, and it is so good and has enough protein in it to satisfy me until morning. Of course I always have watermelon or apples or strawberries around too, but sometimes I want something else. It's helped me to stay on track and not veer off too much.
