I have been with FitnessPal since 4/2017. When I started I weighed 204-205. I tracked my calorie intake for a week before taking SlimQuick. I read on a Special K Cereal box that if you weigh 160 then you are eating 1600 calories. You just add a zero to your current weight. So I was eating 2,000-2,200 calories a day this made sense. So I started at 1200 calories, No exercising I also heard that if you exercise you will feel hungrier. I took the SlimQuick Regular Strength tablets 3 in the morning & then 3 before bedtime. I also bought healthier food choices. I found Aunt Millies bread 35 calories per slice, found sliced cheese 30 calories by Kraft Singles, I used Butter Spray a lot. I could make a grilled cheese sandwich for 100 calories, so if I wanted to I could eat 2 of these. I also looked for sugar-free & either fat-free or low-fat items, even when it came to candy. I also found & love Nutrisystem which I got from Walmart, Healthy Choice & Smart One meals. I would have 200 calories in the morning, 100 calorie snack, 200-300 calorie lunch, 100 calorie snack, & then dinner 200-300 & a snack at night. These pills were amazing & working I was losing 1-5 pounds a day. I got all the way down to 153 pounds. I was so happy I was a size 18 now to a size 6/8. Recently I found this salad dressing it's really good by Walden Farms it's sold at Krogers, 0 calories they have tons to choose from my favorite is Italian Dressing & 1,000 Island YES ZERO CALORIES! It's really good. I've been off of the diet for 3.5 years or so & yes I gained some of it back unfortunately I'm now at 175. I am having trouble finding the SlimQuick tablets so I am now taking the Gummies which isn't working yet not like those tablets. It's the only pills that have worked for me. I have tried when I was in my teens Dexatrim, Accutrim & those didn't work. I have also tried Jenny Craig it would have worked if only I wasn't taking Prednisone. Prednisone makes you really hungry. I wanted to try & find a pill that is an appetite suppressant. If anyone knows of any good brand please let me know. I know a lot of you are going to say NO don't take these but I feel this is what I need to accomplish my goal for my weight & height. According to BMI I need to be at 140-130. When I got down to 153 & my height is 5'3 my family was saying I looked a little skinny. I felt healthier though. I've always struggled with my weight. I need to do this in a healthy way.

If you're looking for a "healthy way" to do this, I'd suggest looking for an option that doesn't include appetite suppressant pills.
What's your vegetable/ fiber intake? I have had to take prednisone for long periods in the past, so completely understand how it makes you feel hungry. For me, the solution was veg, veg, and more veg. I got in the habit of eating 40+ grams of fiber a day-- big salads for lunch (easy on the salad dressing), munching carrots, cucumbers, and napa cabbage sticks for snacks, lots of veggie casseroles and soups.
I make veggie soup all the time-- VERY filling, and I can have like 3 full bowls for less than 200 calories.
I love butternut squash or carrot soup made with curry and 30-cal/cup unsweetened almond milk instead of cream; I add nutritional yeast as a low calorie (and plant-based) alternative to cream or milk, homemade tomato basil, or french onion-style with Millie's whole wheat bread and nutritional yeast . . . .

To answer the question in your thread title - there are mistakes that people commonly make that cause them to not lose weight that we might be able to spot if you change your Diary Sharing settings to Public: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings
