Crossfitters, how often...?

I tried it today and am in love....great trainer, great people, and I'm feeling it! I definitely plan on getting a membership. My question is, is 3 days a week enough, or should I do more? will 3 days give me results? what do you all do, and what kind of results do you see from it?

I am overweight, out of shape, and trying to get ready for the 2015 combat physical :)
