Hi, This is my first time in the community, although I have been signing in for over 500 days. I have lost about 85 pounds but I am really slowing down. Need some advice....thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the Community! Congratulations on your success so far: That's excellent!

When you say "slowing down", what does that mean? How fast are you losing now, and at what weight? How do you perceive the situation (hungry, fatigued, energetic, waning willpower or still pretty motivated, bored, craving, or . . . what?)? What's your calorie goal? Do you have an active job or mostly sedentary? Exercising? If so, what? Etc - anything you feel like sharing in the way of specifics.

It's normal and even a good thing for weight loss to slow as goal approaches, but there's not enough info in your post to know whether you're at that point, or if there's something else going on. That was a lot of questions in the preceding paragraph, but any additional details you can give about your situation and specifics about your challenges . . . that would help us help you.

For fair turnabout: I'm a li'l ol' lady, age 65, quite active, hanging around here these days in year 5+ of maintaining a healthy weight after losing from overweight/obese (where I'd been for literally decades) to a healthy weight back in 2015-16 when I was age 59-60. I'm now 5'5", weight in mid-120s pounds.

I'm betting you can stay on this road, reach your goals!
