New to this community and looking for accountability

Hi everyone,I have been working on weight loss to improve phys/mental health since January 2021 and have lost 48 pounds. I would like to lose another 12 and continue to build strength and tone up. I have not been to the gym in a few weeks since vacation and I am crumbling to fall sweets exposure. I don’t want to lose my fitness progress and I want to stay with healthy choices! Im not much of a joiner, but I think I need an accountability partner. Anyone else in a similar spot looking for mutual support? Thanks :)

    Congratulations on your excellent progress!

    Have you considered a group in the Motivation/Support part of the Community, or a Challenge from that section? Those can be great ways to stay motivated and engaged, in addition to the MFP friend kind of thing. There are also some long ongoing threads with people sharing what they eat (look in Food/Nutrition or Recipes), or their workouts (look in Exercise/Fitness or Gaining/Bodybuilding - I know you're not trying to gain, but that's where the serious strength trainers tend to hang out).

    With regrets, I'm a seriously sub-par MFP friend, more of a Community forums kind of gal, I guess. Both things can help, and different people respond better to one or the other.
