Looking to build muscle and get rid of fat!

Hello! My name is Shaniqua and I've been using this site now on and off since 2017. Currently, I'm having a harder time losing weight than I was before. I see a nutritionist and have been following the cornerstone 1,400 meal plan since about June.

I weight about 183 pounds and I am 5 foot 4 inches. I would like to start weight lifting and see if that helps at all. The only thing is, I'm not really sure where to start with that. If anyone has any tips, advice of suggestions, I am open to them!(:
