I occasionally find myself wondering what happened to certain MFPers, and whether or not they are still around but under different names/accounts.

So...
How long have you been on MFP, and how many accounts/user names have you had?


Me...
10ish years... 2 different accounts. This one for about 5 years now.

    So I've been here about 8 years, only the one account. I've noticed there are quite a few members who are here, delete, start new, and repeat. Gets confusing. haha

    Been here off and on since 2017, more off than on in the past year. I’ve had 3 or 4 accounts? Can’t remember which were new accounts and which were name changes. At least 6 names anyway

    Couple years and same-o same-o.

    I'm often confused about new members who pop up and everybody seems to recognize but me. :/ Lots of fun posters that I miss. :( Then there is the occasional poster who has a male picture up but sounds like a female, or vice versa. Doesn't take much to confuse me so I try not to overthink it.

    They’ve been banned from using mfp or the forums or are trying to avoid interacting with certain mfp users with whom they had previous interactions for any number of reasons.

    I switched the first time because I used my real name. Once because of a breakup. The others because I felt like I’ve embarrassed myself thought that maybe all would be forgotten with a different account.
    Never been banned.

    When i get anxious or depressed, like real bad.. mfp goes first. I’m not saying that’s the way it should be. I just withdraw completely and literally can’t make myself do online interaction

    Over ten years. Two accounts, 4 names.
    1) used real name and realized that was dumn
    2) loved it but had a breakup that made me need to start over
    3) new name didn't fit so changed it
    4) this is me... Going on 5 years now
