Postpartum Weight Loss

Hello everyone!

New mom and 8 months postpartum.
I feel I've been struggling to lose my baby weight. I'm about 5'5 feet and back in college I joined myfitnesspal and lost about 20 pounds in 6ish months.

My pre-pregnancy weight was around 133-135 pounds. During my pregnancy I worked out up until the day I gave birth and gained about 40 pounds.

Now 8 months later I'm at around 145-147 pounds. I've been counting my calories, with the occasional cheat day, and workout 4-5 times a week. I just feel like this weight has been coming off so slowly and it's been a bit discouraging. It feels like I'm just losing a pound a month.

Are there any professionals or postpartum moms that might offer advice on how to lose the baby fat? Is it a real thing for baby weight to just be more difficult to lose?

Appreciate any advice!
