Help with Google Fit

The steps are syncing fine - that's not the issue. However, I'm not receiving a calorie adjustment, either negative or positive, for steps or anything else.

For example, my daily calories in MFP are 2194, I did 7500 steps today and google fit calorie burn is 2600. The steps have shown in MFP but not the calorie adjustment.

Is there a setting or something I'm missing?

I've read the trouble shooter, un-installed and re-installed. Before emailing support, I thought I'd ask here.

For the record, I pair an AmazFit T-Rex with Google Fit and then Google Fit to MFP.

Thanks.

Besides syncs from Google Fit being in the known bugs section of the Help page, it could be that your self-selected MFP Activity Level was higher than Sedentary already, and that 7500 steps is a part of that already expected daily level of burn - so you didn't go above and beyond to get extra calories beyond what was already expected and accounted for.
You can in your settings Enabled Negative Calorie Adjustments.
If you are indeed coming in under the calories already accounted for - that will give you some negative adjustment for not reaching it.
And prove it's working as expected.

Maybe not as desired, but as the way the math runs.

Now - are you manually logging a workout on MFP for a walk or run?
Or is a workout synced over from Google Fit?
That also would cause the effect.

Say your selected level was expecting 2694 daily burn already. (500 cal deficit made eating goal 2194)
GF said you burned 2600 overall.

    GF 2600 - 2694 MFP = neg 94 Adjustment (if enabled)

Base eating goal 2194 - 94 adj = 2100 eating goal (keeps the 500 cal deficit).

If there was really a say 200 cal workout synced over too part of that 2600:
    GF 2600 - 2694 MFP - 200 workout = neg 294 adjustment

    Eating goal 2194 - 294 adj + 200 workout = 2100 eating goal (same 500 cal deficit).

That's what happens if things are working correctly, and Neg Adj is enabled.
If no Neg Adj - then no change to eating goal, and you have less deficit actually for the math.
