CFH - Congestive Heart Failure LifeStyle Change

Hello
My name is Charlotte and I have Congestive Heart Failure. I went through the Real Appeal program and lost weight for my Weight Loss Surgery on Dec. 23 of 2020. Three months ago I started waking up in the middle of the night gasping for air and weezing. I also noticed that I would lose my breath while walking from the parking lot to the store. I would have to stop to catch my breath two to three times before I get to the building. My legs, feet, and ankles were swollen. So finally I went to the urgent care and shared my symptoms with the doctors and they gave me a Covid-19 test and sent me home. After receiving the test results the next day and it was negative. I immediately made an appointment for my primary doctor and asked her to review my visit to the Urgent care before my visit.
My doctor ordered chest x-rays, blood work, and a EKG... The EKG showed I have had two small heart attacks and the chest x-ray showed I have fluid build up around my heart. She sent me right to the ER room.
The doctors in the ER order additional test and found I have a blood clot in my left valve and started me on blood thinner. My feet, ankles, and legs are retaining water so they have me on meds to eliminate the water gain.
I'm putting this out there to say don't ignore the signs. Don't dismiss your symptoms nor what your body is feeling. Don't self diagnose yourself...Those are what I call "Spidey Senses". That Urgent Care doctor dismissed me like yesterday's lunch. I even told her I felt like I was going to pass out just walking in here from the parking lot. I had to stop walking three times to catch my breath. She still didn't order any tests. Please advocate for yourself, they are so quick to dismiss you with Covid that they are not considering it could be something else. Just an FYI... The symptoms for Asthma, and Heart Disease are the same as Covid. You know your body...Fight for an explanation/understanding of what you're feeling.
