I had a friend give me some homemade spaghetti sauce made with olive oil, meat...And meatballs....How am I supposed to know how many calories to log?? I know this recipe is a lot more fattening than my own. Meatballs aside, how many calories should I jot down? What I found was 397 cal per serving. That seems way to high! Could that be right? If that's the case, it made me go over by 49 calories. (and tomorrow is my weigh in day :(

    1. If you're only eating this sauce occasionally - don't worry about it. Go with the 397.
    2. 49 calories over will do absolutely nothing to harm you or affect your weigh in tomorrow
    3. If the 49 calories freaks you out subtract 49 from the 397 and log that. I give you permission because #2 - 49 calories doesn't matter at all in a single day.

 Thanks guys. I know 49 calories over is really nothing in the big picture..I've just been so good with keeping in my range, I hated to blow it on something I really had no clue of calorie wise.
