Meal pictures automatically being shown in Progress section (Android App)

I access MFP using both the web version and Android App. On the android app, I have noticed since the recent update, that when I enter my daily weight login but elect not to put a progress photo, MFP is automatically selecting and showing a picture from my previously uploaded pictures. I have tried the "delete photo" option - but this appears to be ineffective - the picture remains. I can only get "delete photo" to work if I first do the "select new photo" option, and then delete the replacement photo.
In my case the photo's are pretty harmless (mostly meal photos) but a bug nonetheless!
