Hello
In Oct 2011 I broke my back (L3 Transverse process snapped off) in a horse riding fall. I was already overweight and then really piled the weight on. As part of rehabilitation I started swimming, but didn't really put the effort in and used booze to self medicate. In Jan 2013, I had a bit of a "moment" while running , maybe an epiphany , standing there , out of breath , heaving and sore I just decided I didn't want to feel like this any more. I have put in consistent running effort since then. I have dropped 20kg over the last 8 months.
I find the myfitnesspal app on my phone great for tracking stuff, I want to get toned now, I have started a Gym program and I still swim.
There we go , I have laid it pretty bare.
This board seems pretty positive and supportive. So just saying Hi. Please add me if you want to , I am pretty easy going.
