I have insulin-resistant PCOS, and as of today, I am at my highest weight.
I was relieved to get the diagnosis because it was nice to confirm that I’m not going crazy. I’d been craving sugar and carbs like mad, steadily gained weight no matter how much carbs and sugar I cut out, and gained a solid tire around my stomach for all my effort. ☹️
But! I’m looking forward to managing my weight now that I know what this condition is. I will be starting in on light cardio but focusing on strength training.
I’m on the east coast, so feel free to connect with me if you’re on a similar journey! I’m very new to all of this and not sure how it all works just yet.
