500 Days!

Today is my 500th day straight of logging on MFP. 500 days ago, I thought I'd maybe get down to a size 14 and gain some strength. In 500 days, I've gone from a tight US size 18/20 to a comfortable 4/6. I've lost 70 pounds of fat and gained muscle. I've gone from dreading the stairs at work to playing roller derby, becoming a fitness instructor with Derby Lite, cycling, running, and just enjoying an active life with my friends and family. 500 days ago, I started out MFP eating junk food and fast food while following a very low calorie diet of 1200 to 1400 calories. Then I started treating myself like an athlete and fueling my body with 1800 to 2300 calories, while still enjoying plenty of junk and sweets. 
I've continued to lose weight and build muscle, and I'm feeling great. 500 days ago, I finally changed my lifestyle for me. MFP has been a wonderful tool, resource, and community!

Thanks everyone! I think everyone says a "tight" higher size because its so hard to buy the next bigger size when gaining. At least it was for me! And they're fancy tights. I was skating in the Chicago Pride Parade with Derby Lite. It was so much fun! 0
