Hello,
Right now I am using the free version and was wondering if the paid version is better. I do use the free version everyday to track and to maintain my weight.

If you need the added features in the paid version, it's worth it, otherwise it's not.
I can't give you a full rundown, but the basic functions are the same in both, it's the same food database, etc. There are some features like more control over macros, ability to set different nutrition/calorie goals on different days, control how exercise calories are handled. If you're low carb/keto, it will do net carb math for you. In the phone/tablet app, the paid version has some added features like workout routines and plans, maybe some others. (Those aren't available on the web version at all, paid or free.) The paid version doesn't have ads, which in itself is useful for people with slower internet connections.
Look at the features material, see if it sounds worth it to you: It's individual.1
