Raw Onion Versus Cooked Onion Weight

I cooked pork meatballs tonight and I just realized that I have no idea how many grams of onion is in each meatball, as the weight of onion largely decreases after cooking.
So should I just pretend that I didn't eat any onion tonight? For example, if I ate a meatball that weighed 150 grams, then I should just log 150 grams of cooked ground pork? I cooked 7 meatballs and only used half an onion.

Half a good-sized onion is going to be around 30 calories. I wouldn't worry about it: Don't log it, or log 4-5 onion calories per meatball if you want to remember there were onions in there. No big deal!4
