My goals for 2022

Keep losing weight and learn to maintain. I have about 30-35 pounds to go.
I would like to not only run a PR in the 2022 Chicago Marathon, but qualify for Boston . The time for my age group (60-64) is 4:20 Hs. I will work hard for that.
Participate in one Olympic Triathlon (I am training for it).
I want to start weight training. Seriously.
Last but not least:
I need to work on my communication skills. It is good to be a person of few words, but too few can be bad too.
What are your goals?

My health and fitness goals for 2022:
- Keep aiming for ~1lb/week loss. I don't really know for sure what my ultimate GW is - I've never been below 168 as an adult, and even then I was still fat, so I really don't know what to expect beyond that point in terms of how I'll look or feel at X weight. I figure I'll just keep trying to lose until I get to a point where I want to recomp, then do that until I feel like I'm ready to maintain, without worrying about the specific number on the scale.
- Continue cultivating habits and making changes with an eye toward maintenance. My motto this year has been "no temporary changes" - I'm not doing anything I can't see myself doing forever with minor adjustments if need be. This includes tracking my food; maybe someday I'll learn to eat intuitively and not have to explicitly count my calories, whether on paper or with an app or whatever the case may be, but I can't do that now and I can't plan on being able to do that in the future. My mindset has been about making choices in service of my goals, not punishing myself for the crime of being fat.
- If I want to keep moving, I have to keep moving. I learned this year that I am at increased risk for osteoporosis and psoriatic arthritis due to family history, which means an eventual future where my mobility is limited. I want to delay that future for myself as long as possible, so I've been building up a daily exercise habit, getting back into resistance training, and recently started tracking daily steps as well. I'm actually excited about my fitness plans for 2022 - I'm finishing up a 6-week program now, with plans to start something new come January, and I'm actually impatient for it, which is wild to think about.

My health and fitness goals:
1. Reach 175 lbs by my 1 year MFP anniversary. ( 35 pounds down, 37 pounds to go.) This gives me 7 months and will put me just above the healthy BMI range.
2. Run 1.5 miles in 15 minutes or less. (Last timed run was in 15 min 45 seconds.)
3. Push-ups! Real, bona fide push-ups.
4. 165 pounds by my friend's October wedding.
5. Learn to eat at maintenance once I break 170.
6. Go hiking/camping/kayaking etc either by myself or with friends more often.9 -

I’ve had the same goal for several years to lose 30-35lbs and get to my ultimate goal weight. I’ve given up in the past, but my 40th bday is this July and I really want to hit my goal by then and learn to maintain and see this through!6

I also have 30-35 lbs to go. I know it won't be easy or quick, but I think I can do it and so do you Tiffani.1

2022 goal: by the end of the year I want to be in the "healthy weight range and BMI" for my height. Total weight loss is 90lb, so far I have lost 20lbs, another 70lbs to go. I KNOW that this goal is achievable as long as I stick to counting every calorie (measuring and planning all meals) and being active. This time around I am giving myself time for any hiccups in the way, because they will happen.3

Weight goal: Lose 30 pounds. I have found that weight puts me at the sweet spot where I feel the best.
Fitness goal: Hike a rim to rim hike at the Grand Canyon in under 12 hours. I've done the hike a couple of times with my fastest being just over 13 hours. I've made reservations at the Canyon for early September, which will be a week before my twin boys' first birthday, so it will be a challenge to find time and energy to train, but I know I can do it.3 -
@TwinMama91521 No doubt you can do it. Good luck!1
