Hey, Hi, Hello, How are ya?

Happy Monday y'all!

Name is Lyndsay, I'm 32 (soon to be 33), from Glasgow, Scotland. I'm an avid gamer who is looking to gain control back of my life. I'm starting 2022 with a brighter outlook, compared to 2021.

I can use all the motivation and accountability y'all can throw at me, so if you wanna be friends and kick 2022 in the butt, then just send me an add :)

Much love

Hi, Lyndsay. I am also a gamer; recently, I have discovered that quitting gaming has been necessary for me to get my life back, as strange as that sounds. It has not been easy, as I have used gaming as an outlet to escape uncomfortable emotions in my daily life since 2005. Only in this past year have I noticed that I just don't want to really be present with my feelings because I don't know how to handle them (during pandemic times). So, I stopped cold turkey. At first, it was really hard. I have a lot of hobbies and I have "a life" (a full one), and a job...but I was like "wow...what am I going to do?" And that made me scared, you know? But I just kept with it and eventually, I got my life back. It sounds weird. But, since you mentioned it in your post, I thought I would follow up on that thought. Hugs.
