Maintain the calorie deficit is #1.
Weight loss is made in the kitchen.
Don’t hurl yourself into exercise or you’ll hurt yourself. Find something you enjoy doing even if it’s walking (worlds greatest and cheapest exercise) or simply stretching.
Don’t go whole hog and try to burn a shed load of exercise calories in an effort to “lose fast”. That’s a recipe for quitting before you’ve barely begun.
Don’t try to cut calories too hard and lose too fast. That’s the number one mistake new users make, and the reason we never hear back from 95% of them: too much, too fast.
And because few people actually listen to that advice, don’t forget that unfamiliar exercise leads to temporary water weight gain as your body copes with resulting soreness. You will almost always gain weight when you begin exercise. Nuts, huh?2
