Hi. I'm in need of a strong encouraging and informative support group. I need to loose between 50 and 75 lbs. I am finding it harder to loose weight these days now that I am post menopause, with an empty nest, living on my husband's small retirement in my daughter's home. I prepare my husband's and my meals. Our tastes in food have changed. We now struggle with a lack of appetite. Foods that no longer agree with our systems. And a whole lot of other changes we are trying to understand

I lost about a hundred post menopause. It’s not hard. It still boils down to logging, weighing and recognizing that calories out have to exceed calories in.
I was terrified this would be the fight of my life because everyone says “oh it’s so hard for older women, you’ll struggle, yada yada”, and then…..it just wasn’t.
Are you guys eligible for Silver Sneakers? They give free or discounted gym memberships. Walking is great exercise. I love walking with my sweetie. It’s time away from the TV and tablet.
Can you walk yours or your daughter’s dog? Take the grandkids out (teaching them excellent habits btw)?0
