Will this give me a complete workout?

I’ve recently moved and I don’t like the new gym offerings near me so I’m looking at setting up a gym at home. I’m very finicky about exercises I like/don’t like and the machines I’ll use. I love using the assisted chin dip machine and looking at the French Fitnes Shasta machine to take care of the upper body. I’d combine this with some bench presses (I have a bench, just need the weight bar) for the “pushing” movement so I’m not just “pulling”.

For my lower body, I have arthitis in my knees and a degenerative disk in my lower back that causes me back and hip pain. I have trouble with freestyle squats, esp weighted one. I get half way down then can’t get back up or begin the sensation of my hip giving out and down I go. I like using a leg press and smith machines but I really don’t want to remove my stabilizing muscles from the equation. Ive always said to myself, I’ll use the machines for now and get to the rest later… but if I spend $$$ and set myself up at home this way, I know I’ll never change. I’ve had success using a ball behind my back against a wall for squatting in the past i was thinking I could do that and then use a weighted bar for hip thrusts (to me this is lying on ground with weight over hips, knees bent and lifting hips into the air) to go easy on the knees but give my butt a good workout. The weighted bar would also work for holding while doing calves. For stomach i have an ab machine on its way from Amazon. I’ve never used this type before but it wasn’t expensive (compared to gym equipment). I think it was the fitlaya fitness abs machine for $140 I had my husband order.

So my question is would using an assisted chin dip machine, bench presses, weighted hip thrusts and ball squats and the ab machine (if I like it) complete a full body workout? Is there something/body parts I’m missing? I’m 37, female and just wanting to age gracefully as possible. I want to be strong and in shape but not looking for any extreme transformation.

Oh and this is just about weight/resistance exercises. I have cardio all sorted!

Thank you!
