Intro--- new but old LOL

Hello from central WA state (think snow in the winter and 90 degrees in the summer,,,,not like Seattle's rain) , introducing myself as new but old in so many ways...
I am 56 yrs old, female, widowed in 2020 and newly married 2 months ago.
I am new to signing up for MFP, but not new at all to tracking, struggling, supporting etc on online groups like this.
I was able to start taking off some weight in 2020 and maintained all of 2021, but now I need to get things kicked back into gear. AND my doctor suggested I go vegetarian for awhile...funny thing is my husband had a doctors appointment the same morning as mine, and his heart specialist told him the same thing! we met for coffee afterwards thinking we had something entirely off the wall to share with the other one LOL
SO here I am, I need to get back to the gym, I was able to build up quite a bit of strength there last year, and then got too busy ...with new love, planning a wedding, and getting settled in to married life again. Gym will be secondary to getting a calorie deficient meal plan, hitting protein needs but not using a bunch of manufactured garbage food.
I am a FT office manager, a smartmouth, a Christian, a mother (2) and grandmother (1), a quilter, a singer, and a writer.
So that's me in a nutshell....well not really, but enough for now.
