Using Barcode Scanner /saving scanned items

Once you scan a food package...how do you save it to a favorites list? I don't want to add the food to my day, just want to scan my groceries and have the items saved for later.

    Not sure you can prescan and save. Once you've scanned it for a meal in your Diary, it'll be in there the next time for you.

    You could probably add a serving of each item to some future date and then it would be in recent. You could delete that day when you have actually logged everything to a meal.
