Morning all,

Just a quick question. When I joined MFP I was activity level was none existent. So I input that I aimed to do 2 workouts for 30mins a day.

May question being should I update this now as I'm jogging 3x a week then walking cycling 2x a week. Would this give me more calories over all?

Thanks in advance.

nope, your exercise goal has no effect on your calories, doesnt matter if you change it or not.

Yes. I update mine about once a month or so, and you will get more calories if you update to lightly active, also if you change to lose 1 lb a week.

Edit- ah I think maybe I misunderstood the question, sorry! I meant if you update the activity level from sedentary you will get a larger calorie allowance.

It doesn't matter, I guess it depends if you care about tracking exercise or not. I never filled it up, I just care about tracking calories.
