Lost 19 pounds in 2021!

The older I get (I’m 36), the more I realize that focusing on sustainability in bettering my health is the key to success. That was my focus this year and I’m pleased with my results. 2021 was all about portion control and trying to get outside and move a little every day. In 2022, I really want to incorporate healthier foods into my everyday diet and be more consistent with logging my food. I’m hoping to be down 20 pounds by 2023! Word to the wise, on this first day of the New Year, you are probably excited and ready and it’s all or nothing. I wish you well, but I highly recommend picking just one or two doable changes to really focus on and commit to. That way, even if you slip off the wagon or lose your motivation, you will still see some success!

  • Nice job! I lost 22 pounds in 2021, and my doable change for this year is switching to Myfitnesspal instead of counting calories by hand.

Well done! What yours was on 2021, is my plan for 2022.
I think those two things are something I can consistently and realistically do.
All the best for 2022, too!
