Starting again.. and learning to moderate

Hi all, been using MFP for a couple years but thought I'd say hi as I don't have any connections on this app.
2022 will be the year I commit to my weight loss. On the tail end of 2020 I went on a rather extreme diet/exercise plan and lost 60lbs in 7 weeks (M26,6'4, 310lbs to 250), but throughout 2021 managed to put all the weight back on. Moderation isn't my strong suit on both extremes, but this year I'm working on it and refuse to be beaten by my flaws and bad habits.
Nice to meet you all.

fast weight loss does not equate to long term weight loss, as you have learned the hard way (and many others do as well!)
What are your plans for long term weight loss and success?0
