New Beginnings

This is my first time trying to lose weight and tone my body. I want to interact with people that can relate cause sometimes I am not being heard. My weight is affecting my confidence, energy level, peaceful mindset....ugh just needed to share that

    Hiya, lots of good info here, just come up with a plan, don’t be too harsh on yourself and remember it is a marathon, not a sprint

    Well, you’re heard here, because we’re all on the same wavelength, lol.

    There’s a handful of people here trying to gain weight, but the majority of us are on a mission to lose weight, or -like me- to maintain our new weight after goal reached.

    You may get some kickback for the term “toned”, but imho most people mean shapelier than before with the addition of a little bit (or a lot) of muscle. Remember, you can’t lose weight in targeted areas. It’s gonna come off where it wants to come off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    The boards are great for asking questions, seeking wisdom, learning new and astounding (to me!) things about our bodies and weight. And being heard.
